After our day at zoo, we took Harmony to a restaurant a few subway stops from our house that we wanted to try. Jeff and I have referred to it as the “Dancing Girls” restaurant, but I think that it is actually called “Five Dime” restaurant.
These sculptures of dancing girls on the outside of the building are so big that they are higher than the subway track that goes by them. So they are least three stories high! You can’t miss seeing them when the subway train goes by them!
There was a lot of interesting art and sculptures outside and inside of the restaurant.
There was a pond, with koi fish and and full size boat sculptures the center of the restaurant.
Even the bathrooms were interesting!
When we walked by, we noticed that many tour buses were parked outside of the restaurant. It was certainly an interesting place to eat, but was the food any good? Answer-it was delicious (but not cheap!) So we will definitely recommend this restaurant, and likely go back there to eat again sometime for a special occasion celebration!
And Harmony, we appreciate that you are an adventurous eater! We can say “we know this interesting looking restaurant that we would like to try, but we don’t know if the food is any good”, and you agree to come and test it with us!
